Short description Native Rust implementation of Apache Arrow and Apache Parquet.

Long description This repository contains the core Rust implementation for Apache Arrow and Apache Parquet. The arrow crate provides core functionality including memory layout, arrays, and low-level computations. The parquet crate supports the Parquet columnar file format, and arrow-flight adds support for the Arrow-Flight IPC protocol. A parquet_derive crate is available for deriving RecordWriter/RecordReader for simple structs. The project follows Semantic Versioning, releasing approximately monthly with major versions no more than once a quarter. It maintains a rolling MSRV (minimum supported Rust version) that is at least 6 months old.
